Title: Higgs couplings: GREAT and small
Abstract: Just 5 years after the Higgs boson was discovered, the CMS and ATLAS experiments at CERN have precisely measured most of its properties. The observed Higgs lifetime, spin, and parity, and its interactions with weak bosons, bottom quarks, and tau leptons all agree with the Standard Model predictions, ruling out many new physics models. I will present two of the most recent Higgs measurements from CMS, including the first direct detection of the Higgs’ coupling to the top quark, and the most sensitive search for ultra-rare Higgs boson decays into muons to date.
