Astronomy Talk and Public Observing Night

The Department of Physics and Astronomy will hold a public talk and observing session at Gallalee Hall (lecture hall and rooftop observatory) on campus:

7:00-7:30 pm: Talk by graduate student Jacob Morgan on “Our Moon and the Formation of Stars in the Milky Way” held in the Gallalee Hall main lecture hall, Room 227

7:30-9:30 pm: Observing from the Gallalee Hall rooftop observatory with Prof. Jeremy Bailin, observing the first quarter moon and nebulae
